Relationship Manager
Karolína Tichá

Something work-related
Kája joined the company in its very early days, back in 2005. The people at humancraft have become her second family. What she admires about them is their approach to work, their passion for what they do, and their genuine effort to make things change — and to make sure those changes are followed through. Her favourite topics are the Lumina and Insights personality typologies.
Something personal
What brings Kája the greatest joy at work is the feeling that she is useful. She spends the vast majority of her working time taking care of clients. She does her best to be as helpful as possible and to make clients feel they are in genuinely excellent hands. She also takes great care of our trainers and is happy when she feels that, thanks in part to her support, they have delivered an excellent training session and the participants are truly satisfied. And she does not stop caring in her private life either — especially for her family, preferably in the mountains or on trips.
1) How would you describe your job in one sentence?
I take care of our clients to make sure the program they have ordered from us runs exactly as they expected — or even better.
2) What has influenced you in life, and how does it show up in your work?
As a child, I was influenced by sport — specifically artistic gymnastics, which taught me great discipline and diligence. At university, I was influenced by my best friend, who gave me the courage to try new things. And then there was my first job — humancraft :-) — where I experienced what it means to build something new: you have to give it everything, live and breathe it, and surround yourself with people who share the same values. I use all of this in my work every day.
3) Why do you work for humancraft?
Because of the team of people we have here. It is my second family. And because of the variety of our work.
4) What has been your biggest challenge at humancraft so far?
Coordinating a two-year leadership development program for one of our clients across four countries, in local languages, with local trainers, and with measurable results.
5) How does your work influence your personal development and career?
Our regular company meetings influence me the most. I always learn something new there — whether in the areas of personal development, sales, or company leadership.
6) What are the biggest challenges in corporate education today, and how is humancraft addressing them?
In my daily conversations with clients, I often hear that they need learning to be as practical as possible. Today, anyone can easily find theory and best practices, listen to them, or watch a video. What people often do not have is the opportunity to try things out for themselves in a safe environment, discover what works for them and what does not, receive feedback on their performance, and get tips on how to do things differently or better. At humancraft, we try to design every training session with as much practice as possible, using real-life cases tailored to the specific situation of each company.
