Something work-related
Katka spent 15 years in the corporate sphere in Telco, both in marketing and human resources. There she was most fascinated by education and development, change projects and everything related to culture building. After the birth of her children, she worked as an external consultant in smaller companies, especially in the field of HR. She spent several years in her own franchise, family retail and online firm Butlers, where she focused primarily on people, stores, product management, pricing and analysis and planning for both channels. She has worked through both expert and management positions with different focus, so in 2024 she decided to pass on her experience in humancraft and develop and inspire others. She focuses most on soft skills such as communication and presentation skills, change management, time management, management development and most of all on talent development in companies.
Something personal
Outside of work, Katka loves spending time with her family and traveling together. And she recharges her batteries most of all with sports, almost anything from running, cycling, swimming, cross-country skiing, skiing, skiing, skiing, yoga and likes to join any team activity. She likes sports so much that her hobby is sports coaching and conducting various group lessons from circular workouts to yoga.
1) How would you describe your job in one sentence?
Thanks to my work experience and a well of inspiration and know-how in humancraft, I have the opportunity to move people at work and sometimes even personally.
2) What has influenced you in life, and how does it show up in your work?
I am most influenced by my family, who taught me to slow down, to be more patient, and to whom I also want to devote a lot of my time. Humancraft helps me with a huge amount of flexibility and I am then able to devote much more of my enthusiasm and energy to our projects!
3) Why do you work for humancraft?
Because humancraft is challenging, it has a bar set very high and I like that! :-) But at the same time it provides me with a lot of know-how, inspiration and support from colleagues who are true professionals in their field. Not only can I pass on, but constantly learn here.
4) What has been your biggest challenge at humancraft so far?
Continuous and frequent feedback on my person and support to give it more actively to others as well. Learn to accept, accept and take demanding feedback as a tool for your development. To be able to give it to others empathically, but at the same time constructively.
5) How does your work influence your personal development and career?
It helps me to stop more often, reflect and reflect on past, current or future steps, and not build solely on personal or work experience.
6) What are the biggest challenges in corporate education today, and how is humancraft addressing them?
The constant changes, the enormous speed that is demanded after each, the pressure for results. However, it should not be forgotten that to achieve most results, people are needed. Humanity, when we are each unique, we each have different problems, needs, attitudes. At Humancraft, we try to go deep into the needs with clients and really create what will help both the company and individual people. Do not do training for training. At the moment when the training itself takes place, we try to make people try their hand as much as possible so that they stop, think and leave us not only with a theory, but with something really useful that they will want to use in their daily practice.
